horsemanship lessons

Now Booking for 2018

Good Day,

We are now booking courses into 2018. We offer a range of ‘Equi Health Canada’ equine first aid courses, as well as riding lessons and other horsemanship programs.

Attached is information about who ‘Equi Health Canada’ is and what types of courses we provide.

If you’re interested in hosting any of our courses, I am booking all throughout B.C. and Alberta. I have in the past taught pony club and 4H groups in preparation for their exams and I am available for group or private lessons while on site.

I also provide an injury prevention clinic that follows in hand with our first aid courses. I cover pain detection, stretching, safe warm up and cover the importance of conditioning our horses for the work they do and a safe cool down.  I can take up to 10 riders and it is $45/per person for 3-4 hrs depending on the size of the class.

Last but not least I also am one of the Licensed affiliates with Equi Health Canada. I can provide training for those that want to work with us as an “Instructor” and looking to pursue a career teaching first aid courses. There are requirements to become instructor, but anyone is welcome to host.

For information on all of the above please visit For information on myself visit My new website is currently under development and will be up and running in the near future.

If you’d like testimonials or any more information on how to host, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email or phone.

Thank you for your time and best of 2018.

In 2010, Andy became certified as an instructor with CHA and started Windy Acres in 2011. By 2012, she was operating her own outdoor facility that provided training, lessons, pack trips and boarding. Andy continues to move forward in helping others develop their skills while building a safe and confident relationship with the horse and developing her own skills so she may always offer a successful experience.
